I love the whole thing from end to end as one beautiful display of what Lance churns out with every effort. Instant love affair with this record. Thank you very much for sharing it with us, Lance.
The first time I heard pile it seriously blew my mind. Not quite post-punk, not quite folk, not quite grunge, or post-hardcore, or math rock, but seriously felt like it's own entity. They are now in my list of top three most important bands today according to my opinion. This is by far my favorite release by them, although there is a wealth of good material on all their records and there hasn't been a bad release yet. Top level stuff right here. solidbox1
